Agents that do their own job

Give an agent an instruction, a model and a tool budget; let an event wake it or run it by hand. It arrives switched off and only reacts once you turn it on.

Agents and their runs

Each agent’s trigger, whether it is on and its last run. A workflow step can run an agent too.

What you can do on Agents

Each is a button or a form in the app; every one is tied to role permissions and logged.

Change an agent

Rewrites its brief, its model, its tool budget or what wakes it.

Create an agent

Saves a brief and a tool budget. It arrives switched off.

Link an agent to an assistant

Makes an assistant (persona, skills, integrations) the authoring half of this agent. Empty unlinks.

Switch an agent on or off

The only thing that decides whether an agent reacts to anything.

Run an agent

Puts one agent run on the queue. An automation step can call this.

Delete an agent

Removes the agent and its run history. Switching it off is usually what you want.

How it connects to other modules

It has its own row in the Era menu; it is part of the AI module and shows while the module is on.

The AI module’s role permissions apply here too. Era works within the same permissions; sending and deleting wait for your approval.
