Sales include VAT; costs exclude VAT. Commission applies to gross sales; include buyer-paid shipping in that total if applicable. Operating profit assumes recoverable input VAT, excluding income taxes, withholding and returns. Fee VAT is shown separately; treat it as a cost if unrecoverable. Include Etsy processing, listing, advertising and currency charges in other costs, in the same currency.
