Is your work spread over 7 tools that don’t know each other?

Bookings in one place, messages in another, payments in a sheet. A change stays in one tool before it reaches the people who need it.

Same week. Same team. A different day.

Every day a set number of lunches goes out to factories and offices; weekends bring weddings and cocktail parties. Headcount, menu and price are agreed through quotes.

Catering: the same work, today and with Era.

  • Today: Lost reservations. A phone booking never reached the book; two parties, one table. — Era: Table bookings. Site, phone and WhatsApp bookings share one table plan.
  • Today: Scattered orders. Delivery orders wait on three different screens. — Era: One order list. Orders from your own site reach kitchen and till together.
  • Today: Running out. Flour ran out in the middle of dinner service. — Era: Menu and stock. Sold items count down stock; low items raise a flag.
  • Today: Forgotten regulars. Only one waiter knows the usual order. — Era: Loyalty card. The regular’s order and points are on their card; offers follow.

Do we have enough for tonight?

Based on bookings and last Friday, two ingredients are running low. I’ve drafted a supplier order and will show it to you before sending.

Sections on from day one

8 sections switch on together; turn off what you don’t need, add more later.

Before you start

Open the lead → New quote. Put the menu with the number of meals as the quantity (people × days) and the per-head price; prices are entered excluding VAT.

Each contract is a monthly subscription on the company. When a new month starts, accounting gets a task to invoice the previous month with the real headcount; invoices go out on 30-day terms.

An agreement opens and waits for your approval; approve it and the invoice is created and issued. For monthly lunch, then start the subscription on the company.

They write on the operations WhatsApp line before 15:00; the headcount desk confirms and puts a task in the Kitchen list.

Answer yes to the documents question to add document requests on leads, and keep your ISO/HACCP copies under Files.
