Bookings in one place, messages in another, payments in a sheet. A change stays in one tool before it reaches the people who need it.

Same week. Same team. A different day.

Tenders, progress payments, site budgets and subcontracts run at once; spot cost overruns late and the margin is gone. Documents and guarantees are tracked.

Construction contractor: the same work, today and with Era.

  • Today: Missed orders. An emailed order never entered the production plan. — Era: Order to work order. An approved quote becomes an order, then a work order.
  • Today: Missing materials. Production started; materials ran out halfway. — Era: Stock and supply. Low stock prepares a supplier order draft.
  • Today: Unclear delivery. The customer keeps asking where the order is. — Era: Status updates. Each stage change notifies the customer.
  • Today: Disconnected invoices. The shipment left; the invoice came a week later. — Era: Shipment to invoice. A completed shipment creates the invoice with its terms.

Which orders could be late this week?

Two orders are waiting on materials; one is due Friday. I’ve drafted the supplier order and a note to the customer — I’ll show you both before sending.

Sections on from day one

9 sections switch on together; turn off what you don’t need, add more later.

Before you start

Finance → Agreements → the contract → Schedule instalments: the advance and each monthly progress payment with its date. They must add up to the contract value; you see what is due and what is collected.

Finance → Budgets → New: the site name, dates and a planned amount per category (materials, subcontractors, labour, machinery, overheads). Enter each invoice from suppliers as an expense; at 80% you get an alert.

Each tender is a lead. Upload the specification yourself or send the employer a document link from the lead; the tender analyst summarises deadlines, bonds and experience requirements.

Invoices use the standard 20% class by default. If a job falls under withholding (tevkifat) or a reduced rate, add the class under Settings → Tax and pick it on the invoice line.

Your unit prices (m² of structure, plaster, tiles; crew days) are in the Catalogue. Build the quote from them, add special items as free lines, and send it from the lead.
