Same week. Same team. A different day.

Terms begin with a placement test; groups open by level and time. Term fees are paid in instalments, attendance and level-ups are tracked.

Language school: the same work, today and with Era.

  • Today: Lost leads. A trial student was never called back. — Era: Lead follow-up. After a trial lesson, parents get a follow-up automatically.
  • Today: Attendance. Who missed class and when parents heard is unclear. — Era: Classes and attendance. Take attendance and absent students’ parents are told.
  • Today: Instalment tracking. A late instalment was spotted at term end. — Era: Payment plan. Enrolment creates instalments; each due one is reminded.
  • Today: Scattered notices. The holiday notice never reached some parents. — Era: Class notices. Notices go to parents chosen by class or course.

Any late instalments this month?

Three students are late, one by two months. I’ve drafted the reminders and will show them to you before sending.

Sections on from day one

7 sections switch on together; turn off what you don’t need, add more later.

Before you start

Bookings → Classes → New class. Choose the course (e.g. General English), the number of places and the weekly times. Students then book places or you add them from the class.

Bookings → Packages. The monthly 8-lesson package and the IELTS camp are ready; open the student and choose “Sell package”. Each lesson attended is taken off the package.

Open the student — the Student card holds language, level, goal and exam date. The next-level assistant reads it when the term ends.

Open the class session and mark each student present or absent. An absence creates a task to call the student.

Yes. Forms → New form builds a placement-test application; every submission becomes an enquiry in Sales and the enrolment advisor answers it.
